Las Vegas, NV (January 22, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving injuries late Thursday afternoon at the intersection of W Tropicana Ave and S Durango Dr in Las Vegas.
Crews from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue arrived quickly at the scene following reports of a 401B accident, an injury collision, around 4:30 p.m. on January 22. Paramedics assessed those involved and provided treatment to individuals suffering from a variety of injuries. The number of people injured and the severity of their conditions have not been officially released at this time.
The crash occurred at a heavily traveled intersection in the western part of the city, leading to significant delays as emergency personnel worked to assist the injured and manage the scene. Traffic was temporarily diverted while crews ensured public safety and began clearing the roadway.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash to determine what factors may have contributed.
