Chesapeake, VA (January 23, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on the south side of the Veterans Bridge caused injuries and drew a response from emergency services on Wednesday evening. The crash occurred around 5:23 PM on January 21 and disrupted traffic along the southbound lanes of Dominion Blvd S.
Engine 8 and a medic unit arrived to find both vehicles disabled, with at least one person requiring medical attention. According to initial reports, all occupants had exited their vehicles prior to responder arrival, and medics assessed the injured individual at the scene.
