Indianapolis, IN (January 29, 2026) – A 33-year-old man was transported to Eskenazi Hospital on January 28 following a motor vehicle collision in Marion County. Medic 123 provided care during transport after finding the patient injured but responsive.
According to EMS reports, the man had a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 14 and was alert to person only. He presented with bilateral pinpoint pupils and was placed in a C-collar as a precaution. Vitals at the time of transport were stable, with blood pressure recorded at 148/88 and oxygen saturation at 99% on room air.
The physical examination did not reveal additional major trauma, but the patient’s condition required ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The crash location was not specifically identified beyond its proximity to Eskenazi Ave.
Authorities have not released details about the crash itself, including the number of vehicles involved or any potential contributing factors. An investigation is ongoing.
