Sacramento, CA (January 30, 2026) – A multi-vehicle accident involving at least four vehicles resulted in injuries Wednesday morning in downtown Sacramento. The collision occurred at the intersection of 26th St and H St, drawing a significant response from Sacramento police and emergency medical teams.
According to dispatch audio, the incident was reported at approximately 10:36 a.m. on January 28. A Ford, a blue Honda CR-V, a gray sedan, and a white Ford Explorer were all involved in the crash. At least two individuals in the vehicles were pregnant, prompting an expedited medical response.
Emergency personnel arriving at the scene reported several injured parties. One woman appeared to suffer an arm injury, while another driver complained of chest pain potentially caused by airbag deployment. Both were evaluated at the scene, and at least one was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
While one of the vehicles—believed to be a Ford Edge—sustained significant front-end damage, the white Ford Explorer was driven by a solo occupant who was reported uninjured. The condition of others involved has not been disclosed, and no fatalities were reported.
