Why Passing Maneuvers on Motorcycles Can Be Dangerous
Passing another motorcycle or vehicle can be risky, especially on two-lane roads. Misjudging speed, distance, or positioning can easily lead to side-impact collisions.
Motorcycles are particularly vulnerable in crashes because riders have little protection compared to cars. Even at moderate speeds, collisions can result in severe or fatal injuries.
Passengers on motorcycles are at additional risk, as sudden impacts or loss of control can throw them from the vehicle. Awareness, caution, and proper lane use are critical for preventing these types of crashes.
