Why Two-Vehicle Crashes Can Result in Multiple Injuries
Collisions involving two vehicles can quickly lead to serious injuries, especially when one or both vehicles sustain heavy damage. Entrapment can occur when vehicles collide at high speeds or strike barriers, requiring emergency responders to extricate passengers safely.
Factors such as road conditions, speed, and the angle of impact influence the severity of injuries. Emergency crews often use triage and air or ground medical transport to quickly assess and treat victims, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
