How Single-Vehicle Tree Collisions Are Reviewed
Crashes where a vehicle strikes a tree often occur when a driver loses control due to road conditions, distractions, or sudden maneuvers. Investigators typically examine vehicle damage, skid marks, and the roadway to determine how the collision occurred.
Even when only two people are involved, hitting a solid object, such as a tree, can result in serious injuries. Emergency responders focus on assessing the occupants and ensuring the scene is safe, while law enforcement collects evidence to clarify the cause.
