Understanding Rollover and Two-Vehicle Crashes
Rollover crashes can occur when vehicles lose control during a collision, often resulting in serious injuries or fatalities. Occupant protection, such as seat belts, significantly impacts survivability.
Even with a single fatality, multi-vehicle collisions can disrupt traffic for hours while responders provide care, secure the scene, and remove damaged vehicles. Roadway conditions, vehicle type, and impact angles all influence the severity of injuries in these accidents.
