Baltimore, MD (April 5, 2026) – A 32-year-old Maryland man, Ever Alvarenga Rios, was hospitalized on Thursday morning, April 2, after a crash involving a vehicle operated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on the 200 block of South Haven Street in Baltimore. Understanding Crashes Involving Federal Law Enforcement Vehicles
Collisions involving federal law enforcement vehicles can be complicated, particularly when there are conflicting accounts of how the crash occurred. Even minor impacts can result in injuries, especially if a vehicle is struck unexpectedly.
Investigators typically review vehicle positions, witness statements, and physical evidence to determine the sequence of events. Crashes in urban areas can also involve additional safety concerns, as high traffic density and pedestrian activity may increase risk. In all cases, emergency responders prioritize medical care for those involved and work to secure the scene safely.
