Albuquerque, NM (January 24, 2026) – A traffic collision involving injuries was reported Friday afternoon, January 23, near the intersection of 90th Street Northwest and Bluewater Road in Albuquerque.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:25 p.m., prompting a “29 Bravo 1” emergency response, which indicates a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries. Engine 14 and Rescue 14 were dispatched to the scene to assist those involved.
The crash took place on January 23 in a residential and commuter-heavy area of the city’s west side, where traffic congestion and turning vehicles often contribute to collisions. While responders confirmed injuries at the scene, the number of individuals hurt and the severity of those injuries have not yet been released.
Crews worked to provide medical assistance and ensure the roadway was cleared and safe for travel. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
