Augusta, GA (March 19, 2026) – A vehicle crashed into a storefront on Thursday, March 19, along Robert C. Daniel Parkway in Augusta, leaving one person hurt.
Emergency units responded around 3 p.m. to a Verizon store after a white Subaru Forester drove into the front of the building. According to officials, the driver was attempting to park in a space directly in front of the store when the vehicle moved forward and struck the storefront.
Authorities said the occupants of the vehicle were not injured. However, one person inside the store reported injuries following the incident. Early information indicated that the driver may have experienced a physical issue while trying to park, causing the vehicle to accelerate forward.
