How Intersection Crashes Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Crashes at intersections often happen when vehicles fail to yield or misjudge another vehicle’s speed or position. Even low-speed impacts can cause injuries, depending on the angle of the collision.
Front-end impacts, such as bumper strikes, can still result in significant forces being transferred to occupants. This is especially true when larger vehicles are involved, as they may cause more damage to smaller cars.
Busy intersections also increase the chance of multi-directional traffic conflicts. Drivers must remain alert and follow traffic signals carefully to reduce the likelihood of accidents in these areas.
