Aurora, CO (January 27, 2026) – Emergency responders were called to a crash with injuries on January 26 along southbound I-225, just north of Iliff Ave. Multiple fire and medical units, including Engine 6, Engine 7, Ladder 8, Battalion 2, and South Metro Medic 21, responded to the scene in coordination with local police.
The collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. and temporarily affected traffic flow in the area during the early morning commute. First responders assessed the crash victims and provided medical aid. The number of injured individuals and the severity of their conditions have not yet been publicly released.
Initial reports confirmed that injuries were sustained, and at least one person required on-scene treatment. All involved agencies worked together to manage roadway safety and ensure care was administered promptly.
