What Happens When a Vehicle Crashes into a Building
When a vehicle crashes into a home or building, the impact can cause serious injuries to people inside, even if they are not near the point of entry. Walls, furniture, and debris can shift suddenly, increasing the risk of harm.
These types of crashes may involve structural damage that compromises the building’s safety. In some cases, parts of the structure may weaken or collapse, requiring further inspection before the space can be used again.
Driver factors, including speed, inexperience, or loss of control, are often linked to these incidents. Residential areas can be especially vulnerable due to nearby streets, parked vehicles, and limited barriers between the roadway and homes.
