The collision occurred around 4:58 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 276 and Silver View Ln. Rockwall Fire Engine 4, Rockwall EMS, and Rockwall Police Department responded to the scene.
Authorities reported significant damage to the vehicles involved. By 5:08 p.m., one patient had been transported to a local hospital for treatment, although the extent of injuries has not been fully disclosed.
