Baker Co., FL (April 7, 2026) – A 25-year-old woman was killed and another person seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon, April 6, at North Lowder Street and Constitution Place in Baker County.
The crash occurred when an SUV traveling southbound on Lowder Street left the roadway and struck a fence along the east shoulder. Emergency units responded to the scene and provided aid to those involved.
The driver was taken to Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A 23-year-old passenger from Jacksonville was also hurt and transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Authorities confirmed both occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
