Wichita, KS (April 7, 2026) – Four people were injured in a crash on Monday evening, April 6, near the intersection of Washington Street and Osie Street in south Wichita.
The collision occurred just before 7 p.m., prompting emergency units to respond to reports of a crash with one person trapped. Crews arrived at the scene and worked to assist those involved and secure the area.
Investigators said a Dodge Ram traveling southbound collided with a Nissan Versa heading eastbound. The driver of the Nissan, a woman in her 20s, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The occupants of the truck, including a man in his 60s and two women in their 20s, were also taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation, but additional details may become available as authorities continue their review.
