Baltimore, MD (January 30, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Thursday evening to a distressing incident in the 200 block of Dolphin St, where a young child riding a bicycle was reportedly struck by a vehicle, according to police radio traffic from the Baltimore City Police Western District.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:09 p.m. on January 29. Responding officers and medics arrived to find the child conscious and breathing. Immediate care was provided on scene before arrangements were made to transport the child to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The nature of the injuries has not been officially confirmed, but early reports suggest they were not life-threatening.
The area surrounding Dolphin St was temporarily blocked off as first responders managed the scene and gathered initial information. The driver of the vehicle remained at the location, and no additional injuries were reported.
