Why Rear-End Crashes Often Happen on Busy Highways
Rear-end collisions are common on highways where traffic patterns can change quickly. When one vehicle slows or stops, drivers behind may not have enough time or distance to react, especially at higher speeds.
Factors such as following too closely, distraction, and sudden braking can increase the likelihood of these crashes. Even at moderate speeds, rear-end impacts can cause injuries and significant vehicle damage.
Maintaining a safe following distance and staying alert to traffic conditions ahead can help reduce the risk of these types of accidents.
