What Factors Can Lead to Early Morning Highway Crashes
Early morning hours can present unique driving challenges. Reduced visibility and lower alertness levels may increase the chance of a crash.
Traffic is often lighter at that time, which can lead to higher speeds. When a crash does occur, the impact can be more severe because fewer obstacles slow vehicles.
Fatigue can also affect reaction time and decision-making. Staying rested and focused while driving can help reduce the risk of crashes during early hours.
