Cheltenham, PA (January 19, 2026) – An EMS unit was involved in a collision while responding to an earlier accident at the intersection of W Glenside Ave and Willow Grove Ave in Cheltenham on January 17. Emergency crews were already on scene when the second impact occurred.
According to reports, the EMS vehicle was struck while assisting at a prior motor vehicle accident. Following the incident, medics on site began checking for injuries among those involved, including their own personnel. The extent of injuries has not been publicly confirmed.
Traffic in the area was affected as additional responders worked to manage the new crash scene and evaluate anyone who may have been hurt. Authorities are reviewing the sequence of events and continuing to investigate both collisions.
