Chesapeake, VA (January 19, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Sunday afternoon to a multi-vehicle accident with reported injuries at the intersection of Portsmouth Boulevard and Starmount Parkway in Chesapeake.
The crash occurred around 3:21 p.m. and involved three vehicles. Engine 11 and Medic 10 were dispatched to the scene, where they provided medical care and scene control. Initial reports indicated that one individual sustained a head injury but left the scene before medics arrived.
Authorities worked to assess those remaining at the scene and ensure that no further injuries were overlooked. Responders also cleared the intersection of debris and helped restore the flow of traffic, which had been briefly disrupted by the incident.
At this time, the exact cause of the collision is still under investigation. Law enforcement is reviewing the circumstances, including the whereabouts and condition of the injured party, who departed the area before receiving treatment.
