Chesterfield, VA (January 5, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident resulting in injuries was reported late on the night of January 4 in Chesterfield. The crash took place at the intersection of Wellspring Rd and Harrowgate Rd around 10:38 p.m., bringing out units from the Chesterfield County Police Department (CCPD) and emergency medical services.
Upon arriving at the scene, paramedics provided treatment to individuals hurt in the crash. The injured parties were evaluated and received care on-site for a range of injuries. Authorities have not confirmed how many people were hurt, but all received immediate medical attention, with some possibly transported for further care.
The intersection remained partially closed for a short time while first responders assisted the victims and cleared the area. Traffic was restored shortly after crews finished operations.
