Chicago, IL (January 18, 2026) – A traffic accident with injuries was reported on Friday afternoon at the intersection of North New England Avenue and West Wabansia Avenue in Chicago’s Galewood neighborhood, prompting an emergency medical response.
The crash occurred around 4:23 p.m. on January 16 and involved a silver GMC and a gold Toyota. According to reports from the scene, one of the drivers, a woman described as elderly, was experiencing memory loss following the collision. Fire crews were immediately dispatched to assist and provide medical evaluation.
