Why Early-Morning Crashes Can Be Risky
Crashes that occur in the early morning hours often happen when fewer drivers are on the road. Reduced visibility in darkness and potential driver fatigue can increase the likelihood of accidents.
Emergency responders face challenges reaching the scene quickly, especially if roads are less lit or intersections are busy. Prompt care from firefighters and paramedics helps ensure that injured individuals receive treatment as soon as possible.
Even minor crashes can cause injuries that require hospital evaluation. Vehicle occupants may experience bumps, bruises, or more serious trauma from sudden impacts.
Clearing crash scenes safely also protects other drivers and allows traffic to return to normal once vehicles and debris are removed.
