Tucson, AZ (June 29, 2026) – A motorcyclist lost his life early on Saturday morning, June 27, at the intersection of East Broadway and North Campbell Avenue in Tucson. Authorities were called to investigate at 2 a.m.
According to the preliminary investigation, Jose Nadir Parra was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Broadway in the median lane when he entered the intersection at Campbell Avenue. Police said Parra failed to stop for a red light and was struck by a northbound vehicle.
Parra was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional details about the other driver were released as of the time of this report. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
