How Single-Vehicle Crashes Are Investigated
Single-vehicle crashes can involve several factors that investigators review to understand what happened. They may examine roadway conditions, vehicle damage, weather conditions, and evidence from the scene to determine how the vehicle lost control.
Investigators may also review driver actions, road design, and other circumstances surrounding the crash. Physical evidence, including tire marks and the final position of the vehicle, can help create a clearer timeline of events. These details provide a better understanding of how the collision occurred.
