Deltona, FL (January 14, 2026) – A crash on I-4 Westbound near mile marker 111 in Volusia County left at least one person injured early Wednesday morning.

The incident was reported just before 6:00 a.m. along a busy stretch of highway near Deltona. Emergency medical personnel responded quickly and provided on-site treatment to those involved. At least one individual required further medical evaluation and was transported from the scene.

While officials initially reported the roadblock status as unknown, the crash caused traffic slowdowns in the westbound lanes as crews managed the scene and assisted the injured.

Authorities have not disclosed how many vehicles were involved, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. Conditions in the area returned to normal shortly after emergency responders completed their work.
