Dickinson Twp, PA (January 28, 2026) – A serious multi-vehicle accident involving a dump truck and a passenger car was reported on January 28 at the intersection of Carlisle Rd and Peach Glen Rd in Dickinson Township, resulting in at least one person sustaining injuries.
The collision occurred shortly after 8:25 a.m. and led to both vehicles overturning, with one reportedly striking a nearby home. Emergency responders from Cumberland County were dispatched to the scene, where they encountered significant damage and an entrapment situation.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the driver of the dump truck suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and was airlifted from the scene for medical care. Details about the occupants of the passenger car or those inside the home have not yet been made available.
Traffic in the area was immediately shut down as crews worked to assist the injured, secure the scene, and investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash. Structural concerns related to the impacted home are also being assessed.
