Monroe, NJ (June 26, 2026)— A driver was ejected, and another person was injured after a crash involving two Honda vehicles on the New Jersey Turnpike on Thursday morning, according to the New Jersey State Police.

The crash occurred around 7:58 a.m. on the southbound inner roadway near milepost 73 in Monroe Township, just south of Interchange 8A, state police said.

Investigators said a Honda traveling on the Turnpike lost control, overturned, and struck another Honda that was parked on the shoulder. The driver of the moving Honda was ejected during the crash.

Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to state police.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation reported that the right lane was blocked while emergency crews responded to the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
