Dunbar, WV (January 15, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon to a traffic accident with injuries at the intersection of Grosscup Avenue and 11th Street in Dunbar.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:55 p.m. and involved at least one vehicle requiring medical assistance for an injured occupant. Paramedics arrived promptly to assess the scene and provided treatment to those hurt in the crash. At least one person was reportedly transported for further medical care, though the extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Traffic in the area was briefly disrupted as first responders worked to clear debris and assist those involved. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash and have not yet released additional details.
