Seminole, FL (July 14, 2026) – An elderly man was killed, and another person suffered life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Seminole Boulevard near 50th Avenue North in Seminole.
The collision occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, when a Genesis SUV traveling southbound on Seminole Boulevard collided with a Chrysler PT Cruiser in the northbound left-turn lane. Investigators said the PT Cruiser turned in front of the SUV while attempting to turn onto 50th Avenue North, resulting in a crash involving the passenger side of the vehicle.
The driver of the PT Cruiser, James Crane III of Seminole, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. His passenger, Dacosta Crane, 20, also of Seminole, suffered life-threatening injuries and remains on life support. The SUV driver was evaluated at the scene and was not injured.
