Seaford, NY (July 27, 2026) – One person was injured and treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire broke out early on Saturday morning, July 25, at a two-story home on Park Avenue in Seaford.
Emergency units responded shortly before midnight after reports of flames and heavy smoke coming from the residence. Firefighters arrived to find flames spreading through the home and smoke coming from the roof. Crews worked for approximately one hour and 45 minutes before bringing the fire under control.
One person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Initial reports indicated an e-bike may have been involved in starting the fire.
