Franklinville, NY (January 27, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident with injury prompted an emergency response along Route 16 near 8263 Rt 16 in Franklinville on Tuesday morning.
Crews from both the Farmersville Fire Department and Franklinville Fire Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving at least one vehicle. The New York State Police were already on site and requested EMS assistance for an individual who sustained a minor injury in the crash.
The incident occurred on January 20 and temporarily disrupted traffic along Rt 16 as first responders assessed the situation. Emergency medical personnel evaluated the injured party and provided appropriate care at the scene. There is no word yet on whether the individual required transport to a medical facility.
