Phoenix, AZ (January 27, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early Saturday morning to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Buckeye Road in Phoenix.
The incident was reported at approximately 4:18 a.m., prompting a dispatch of Engine 21 and Rescue 21 to the scene. Initial reports indicated that a pedestrian had been struck and sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
Responders worked to provide medical assistance to the injured individual while managing traffic around the area. The full extent of the injuries has not yet been released.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances of the collision, including the involvement of the vehicle and any contributing factors such as visibility or driver distraction.
