Fresno, CA (April 18, 2026) – Ten people, including minors, were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Friday night in east central Fresno following a police pursuit.
The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at the intersection of Olive Street and Maple Avenue. According to reports, a driver attempted to flee during a traffic stop before a brief chase ended in a crash involving three vehicles.
Emergency units responded to the scene, where multiple injured occupants were taken to hospitals. Officials confirmed that 10 people were transported for treatment, and all are expected to recover. Debris cleanup was also underway in the area following the collision.
The driver involved was also injured and taken to a hospital. Authorities stated the suspect faces multiple charges, including felony evading and multiple counts related to impaired driving. Once medically cleared, the driver is expected to be booked into jail.
