E-Bike Collisions Near School Areas
E-bike crashes can cause serious injuries because riders have little protection from the road. A fall can lead to head trauma, cuts, broken bones, or other harm, especially when a rider strikes the pavement.
School areas may include walkers, bikes, buses, parked vehicles, and turning traffic. This mix can make it harder for riders to judge speed and distance, especially when another person enters their path.
Head injuries are a major concern after e-bike crashes. Medical teams may check alertness, balance, memory, and signs of pain. Helmet use, impact speed, and the point of contact can all affect how severe the injuries become.
