Fresno County, CA (January 21, 2026) – A 40-year-old woman sustained injuries and was hospitalized following a hit-and-run collision on Tuesday morning on Temperance Ave in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident unfolded when the woman’s vehicle became disabled along the roadside near the intersection of Temperance Ave and Central Ave. While she was outside the vehicle, a southbound driver struck her and continued without stopping.
Emergency personnel arrived shortly after the collision and provided immediate aid to the injured woman. She was then transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and care. Her current condition has not yet been disclosed.
CHP investigators believe the suspect vehicle may be a Toyota Corolla, but no arrests or identifications have been made as of this time. The search for the driver remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.
