What Risks Are Associated With Pedestrians on High-Speed Freeways?
High-speed roadways like Interstate 45 are designed for vehicles traveling at consistent speeds, which can make them especially dangerous for pedestrians. Drivers may have limited time to react when someone is on or near the roadway, particularly during overnight hours when visibility is reduced.
