Why Kitchen Fires Are a Common Hazard in Homes
House fires often start in the kitchen due to cooking equipment, electrical appliances, or unattended stoves. Even a small fire can quickly spread if flammable materials are nearby.
Early detection and quick response by firefighters can limit damage and reduce the risk of serious injuries. Smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and safe cooking practices are key measures to protect residents.
Emergency crews also focus on rescuing anyone trapped inside and containing the fire to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the home or neighboring structures.
