Homeland, CA (June 8, 2026) – A collision with injuries was reported early on Monday, June 8, near Leon Road and State Route 74.
The accident was first reported around 12:12 a.m. after a caller said they heard a traffic collision from a nearby home. An added entry said a gray Honda had overturned onto its roof, with one occupant seen stuck inside.
The report was later updated from an unknown-injury call to a hit-and-run with injuries. The exact point of the wreck was listed near State Route 74 and Leon Road.
A later entry said a vehicle with matching damage was found around 2:01 a.m. Towing services were requested, and additional notifications were made during the early morning hours. Investigators are continuing to review the hit-and-run and the events that followed.
