Pedestrian Accidents in Alabama
Pedestrian crashes continue to be a serious safety concern across Alabama, particularly in commercial areas and along busy roadways where both vehicle and foot traffic are common. Gas stations, shopping centers, and intersections can present increased risks due to frequent vehicle movement and limited visibility at night.
Emergency responders often stress the importance of driver awareness and pedestrian caution, especially after dark when visibility conditions may be reduced. Authorities encourage motorists to remain alert for pedestrians entering or crossing parking lots and access roads.
