Why Minibike and Vehicle Collisions Often Result in Serious Injuries
Crashes involving minibikes and passenger vehicles can be especially dangerous due to the size and weight difference between the two. Minibikes offer little protection in a collision, leaving riders highly exposed during impact.
Intersections like U.S. 24 Hwy and Liberty St can present increased risks because vehicles and smaller riders may enter the crossing from different directions at the same time. Limited visibility, timing errors, or misjudged distance can all contribute to collisions.
After these incidents, investigators typically review traffic flow, vehicle speed, and right-of-way to determine how the crash unfolded. These findings help clarify the sequence of events and identify contributing factors.
