Los Angeles, CA (August 6, 2026) – At least one person was hurt in a hit-and-run on the eastbound I-105 on-ramp at Central Avenue on August 6. The three-vehicle crash was reported around 3:25 p.m. and involved a white Toyota, a black Ford Mustang, and a black Jaguar.
Initial police reports indicated the white Toyota and black Ford Mustang were blocking the No. 1 lane. Dispatch updates later confirmed that three vehicles were involved, with one vehicle continuing to block the No. 1 lane and the HOV lane as emergency units worked at the roadway. The report was later upgraded from a non-injury hit-and-run to one involving injuries.
Medical personnel were requested, with an estimated arrival time of about 10 minutes due to heavy traffic. The cause of the hit-and-run remains under investigation as additional information becomes available.
