What Is Reviewed in Rollover Crashes?
Rollover crashes are often examined by reviewing speed, road conditions, and whether a vehicle left the roadway before overturning. These incidents can escalate quickly once a vehicle loses traction or strikes a fixed object.
Investigators also assess seat belt use, vehicle damage patterns, and final resting position to understand how occupants were affected. Roadside objects such as poles or ditches can increase the severity of the crash.
These details help reconstruct how the vehicle left the roadway and what factors contributed to the rollover event.
