Lacey, WA (May 15, 2026) – A pickup truck and a semi-truck collided on Friday, May 15, around 6:15 a.m. in the 9300 block of Orion Dr NE in Lacey, leaving the pickup’s driver trapped inside the vehicle.
The front of the pickup had intruded into the passenger compartment, requiring emergency units to perform a heavy extrication to free the driver. Once freed, the driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The condition of the driver has not been released, and no information about the semi-truck driver has been confirmed. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
