How Home Explosions Can Cause Serious Injuries
Home explosions are rare but can result in devastating injuries due to the sudden release of energy and debris. The force of an explosion can collapse walls, lift roofs, and hurl objects, creating hazards for anyone nearby. Burns, fractures, and respiratory injuries are common outcomes.
A rapid response from neighbors or emergency crews is critical to rescuing anyone trapped in debris. Structural collapse and fire following an explosion make prompt evacuation and safety measures essential to reduce further harm.
