Intersection Crash Risks
Intersections are among the most common locations for serious vehicle collisions due to crossing traffic patterns, turning movements, and traffic signal changes. Even at moderate speeds, side-impact and angled crashes can result in significant injuries to drivers and passengers.
Authorities encourage motorists to remain attentive at intersections, obey traffic signals, and yield appropriately to help reduce the likelihood of crashes and serious injuries.
