Las Vegas, NV (January 12, 2026) – First responders, including Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and emergency medical personnel, were called to the scene of a crash with injuries on Monday evening in the southwest valley. The collision occurred at approximately 6:38 p.m. at the intersection of W Tropicana Ave and S Rainbow Blvd.
Emergency crews arrived promptly to assess those involved and render aid. At least one vehicle was reported to be involved, and several individuals sustained a variety of injuries. Paramedics treated victims at the scene before transporting them to local hospitals for further care.
The intersection, one of the city’s busiest, experienced significant traffic congestion as crews worked to clear the wreckage and manage the scene. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while the roadway was partially closed during the investigation and cleanup.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Details on the cause and contributing factors, such as speed, distraction, or driver impairment, have not yet been confirmed.
