The collision involved a Toyota Corolla, a white sedan, and a semi-truck. Responders moved the vehicles to the left shoulder to clear traffic. One driver requested a medical evaluation for possible whiplash, though no serious injuries were reported.

Our thoughts are with those affected as they receive any necessary medical care.
Why Multi-Vehicle Crashes Happen on Highways
Highway collisions involving multiple vehicles often occur when drivers fail to maintain safe distances, react too slowly to traffic changes, or encounter sudden braking ahead. Even minor impacts can result in whiplash or other injuries due to rapid deceleration.
Responders focus on securing the scene, moving vehicles safely, and assessing any injuries. Proper spacing, alert driving, and awareness of surrounding traffic are key to reducing the risk of multi-vehicle collisions on busy roads.
